The foundation of IBMI was laid by Mr. Meer Abdul Kareem in 1975 in Mandya, Karnataka, IBMI has come a long way from its humble beginnings. At that time there was No Major Industry in the Mandya. This was the first Bone Crushing Unit in Mandya, and with his foresightedness and vision, he brought the industry to be one of the leading industries in the district. Today, IBMI is running successfully with 3 more units with latest technology and processes. Mr. Meer Abdul Kareem received various awards and felicitations in his life time.

This family business is now successfully being run by the second generation, Mr. Meer Fazal Mohammed and Mr. Meer Suhail Ahmed.

Production Capacity

The capacity of SRM free crushed bones every month by the plant is 500 MT from the material received 18% to 23% is SRM and remaining is SRM free. This can vary due to circumstances as age of animal etc., as quantity is not a concern but quality is our main priority. The SRM free unit is crushing bones with the latest technology to maintain high quality of standards.
